I'm not 100% sure that variants exist with the pin configuration that makes them incompatible with the Retron 77. HD cable; and a 6 ft. I think it has a nicer interface, it has the same adapter for game gear, and it also supports tg-16 and pc engine, however you do need a converter for NES. Its on the compatibility list and the cartridge works just fine in my gba, but when I stick it in the retron and try to start the game, i just get either an all black or all white screen.
